I know it's a sample timer below because I put it there, but I am excited when I look at it anyway, that's how good this technique works.
This is an email template that says nothing except to expect another email. It can manage expectation and spark curiosity as to what it's all about.
Its the 1st email in a 6 Day, 9 part email template series and foreshadows a limited time deal coming in the next email.
Why It's Important
Starting any email series is tough, and you don't want to go barging in full speed on the first date.
It gives a brief introduction to a limited time special deal, and the opportunity to opt out.

If you’re [disqualifying descriptor #1] or you’ve already [achieved specific outcome] then this isn’t for you.
But if you’re still struggling to [specific outcome] then keep your eyes peeled for my email tomorrow.
The deal is so good it’s only available for a limited time.
